Cooking with paula Dean because of 30 minute meals

I am wondering why they charge fees. There are more recipes free of charge. I would not join a membership site to get recipes.

From what I remember hearing, you can substitute roma and plum tomatoes freely. Just don't substitute them with the big ones like beefsteak, etc, as those are too watery.

There's a local restaurant that makes a killer Chicken Portobello. They have this cream sauce which seems like a mixture of some sort of red wine and cream. Very yummy, but probably not the healthiest thing.

It's probably not that hard to figure out how to do it myself - probably sear chicken breasts, add portobello mushrooms, deglaze with Marsala wine, finish it off in the oven, and add cream late, serve with pasta - would be my guess at least.

I probably wouldn't join. There's enough free recipes and tips available online, that a paysite would have to have some additional draw for me to subscribe and pay a fee to it.
